This is what winter in Wisconsin is supposed to look like. This year we had a good snow on Halloween and haven’t seen much since then.

Hopefully it sticks around now. This winter has been pretty crappy so far.

We just keep getting rain. Lots and lots of rain. I’ve never seen rivers this flooded before spring.

There was a big story in the local paper about the wastewater tunnels they’ve been digging for years to limit the number of times large storms will overflow the sewage system and pour shit directly into the White River. It turns out that, thanks to climate change, we’re getting more rain and the system is designed for our typical storms of 20 years ago, so our river won’t actually be clean when the billions are spent.

Just somewhat less shitty.

I would love to get snow. Right now its unseasonably warm and raining. Im hoping we at least get a blizzard in february.

When I lived in Wisconsin there was always snow on the ground during winter time and sometimes it would surprise you. I was at work having a smoke, clear day, came out later and like...when did it snow two inches? I remember being terrified the first time I drove in heavy heavy snow up there (I’m from the South) and remembered..oh, yeah, you guys have plows...

I just got in from cleaning up a few inc hes of the wettest, slushiest, slop I have ever had to deal with. My feet are so wet and cold.

Yea, between the Halloween snow and this we’ve gotten and inch or two here or there but it’s mostly been rain.
